Sophie & Chris’s Stamford Wedding – Church Bells, Marquee & Relaxed English Wedding
Sophie & Chris’s wedding day in beautiful Stamford was the kind of celebration that felt effortlessly joyful, deeply personal, and full of love from beginning to end. The day began with a heartfelt ceremony at the historic St Martin’s Church, where they were joined not only by friends and family—but also their beloved dog, who proudly played a part in the day. After the service, we made a quick stop at the gates of the magnificent Burghley House for some relaxed portraits before heading to the reception.
Back at their home, Sophie & Chris had created a truly special setting with a beautifully decorated marquee in the garden. They’d put so much time and effort into everything themselves, and it showed—from the thoughtful details to the welcoming, relaxed atmosphere. There were plenty of personal touches: ice cream, garden games, laughter, and the kind of celebration where everyone felt like part of the family. It was a day of sunshine, smiles, and so much heart.
