Florence & Alistair’s Rustic Marquee Wedding in the English Countryside
Florence & Alistair were married on 11th June at the peaceful Parish Church of Saint Mary the Virgin in Tydd St Giles. While I didn’t join for the morning prep, the moment I stepped into the church, I was met with the most beautiful floral decorations—a soft, elegant touch that filled the space with colour and warmth. After the ceremony, we went to Peckover Farm for a relaxed countryside reception. Set on private farmland, the marquee was tucked beside a charming rustic barn, surrounded by open fields and views that went on forever. And yes—chickens wandering about like they owned the place. It was the perfect backdrop for a day that felt truly personal and full of character.
Florence & Alistair’s styling was natural and elegant, blending beautifully with the setting. Guests enjoyed live music, great company, and the kind of easygoing atmosphere that only comes with a well-loved countryside setting. As the sun dipped lower, we captured a few natural golden-hour portraits—nothing too posed, just the two of them, enjoying the moment. And honestly, that’s what the whole day felt like: real, joyful, and completely them. Florence & Alistair, thank you for letting me be part of such a beautifully down-to-earth celebration.
