Nicola & Charlotte’s London Wedding at Tudor Barn – Emotion, Laughter & Big City Love
Nicola & Charlotte’s wedding at Tudor Barn in London was something truly special—and for me, a bit of an adventure! As a self-confessed village boy, photographing my first wedding in London was an exciting step into the buzz of the city, and I couldn’t have asked for a more wonderful couple to share it with.
Charlotte is the sister of one of my previous brides—her twin sister, in fact—so it was a real joy to see familiar faces and be welcomed as part of the family. Charlotte wears her heart on her sleeve, and there were tears throughout the day—beautiful, heartfelt moments that said it all. Nicola, always full of smiles and laughter, was the perfect balance—a warm, loving presence with a brilliant sense of humour. Together, they’re the kind of couple that makes everyone around them feel the love.
And just when I thought the day couldn’t get any better—their dog made a surprise appearance at the drinks reception! As someone who absolutely loves animals, this little guest brought a whole extra level of joy and personality to the day (and, of course, some extra photos!).
Set in historic Eltham, Tudor Barn London is a rare gem—a 16th-century building nestled in South East London, surrounded by parkland and full of character. The exposed beams, brick walls, and lush gardens gave their wedding a perfect mix of cosy charm and city cool. From emotional vows to joy-filled dancing, the whole day was bursting with love, laughter, and unforgettable moments. It was an absolute privilege to be part of it.
